A New Thanksgiving Experience

Well, since we celebrated Thanksgiving Day early with all of our children and grandchildren, Steve and I experienced our first Thanksgiving Day away from home and family today (Kayla had Thanksgiving with Jordon's family). We went to Little America in Salt Lake to their beautiful buffet dinner. We enjoyed this so much that I might have to try to have an early Thanksgiving early every year so we can do this again! The food was unbelievable and the atmosphere was amazing! In fact, when I walked in I had to fight back the tears because it was so beautiful! (The pictures just can't begin to tell the story of how beautiful it looked). There was live piano music, playing everything from classical to Christmas music! I just loved it! They had the traditional Thanksgiving food (turkey, dressing, potatoes & gravy, yams, rolls, etc), but they also had everything else imaginable! (King crab, fresh shrimp, prime rib, ham, pork, salads and salads, side dishes of everything you would want and tables and tables of beautiful desserts). I ate so much that I almost got sick but it was hard not to keep going back to try everything there! (I almost did it)! Anyway, just a new Thanksgiving experience but it really was fun and set the mood for the upcoming Christmas season! (One nice bonus - no cleanup!)
