Bridal Shower Fun!

On Saturday, August 23, 2008, I got to go to a Bridal Shower for Ashlee, Judy Rose's daughter. Judy is the best friend anyone could ever ask for! We have seen each other very little over the years but it seems like when we do, its as if it were yesterday. We lived next door to each other when our oldest children were tiny and we became instant friends - more like sisters! I love her dearly and it was great to be included in the things that are going on in her childrens' lives! We are looking forward to being able to be at the temple with Ashlee and Judy and Jerry when Ashlee gets married. I loved seeing Judy and all of her girls together. They look so much alike and all have Judy's beautiful smile and eyes. They are a lot of fun and it was great to see them and Judy's mom. It brings back a lot of fun memories. We got to catch up and talk and find that even through all the years of being away and moving around the country, we still think so much alike and enjoy the same things, especially our families. Hopefully it won't be such a long time between visits anymore. They have a beautiful family and we really miss them.
