Kayla is Engaged!

Well, I thought I'd better get this little piece of news on my blog so we can spread the word! Kayla is officially engaged as of Wednesday! We knew this was coming awhile ago, but Kayla got her wisdom teeth out Wednesday and Jordon spent a couple of days at our house taking care of her. I think he decided she needed something to cheer her up and didn't want to wait any longer, so took a ring box out of his pocket, opened it up, and asked her to marry him. Of course she said 'yes'. We are happy for both of them! She will be a young bride but we are so proud of them and cannot believe what a great team they make - planning for this and accomplishing so much to be ready to get married! Jordon is working for the State of Utah working with the handicapped, getting ready to attend UVU, studying either Psychology or Education (English - he wants to be a teacher/author). Kayla will officially be a Dental Assistant in May and will hopefully be employed full-time with a dentist by then. She is considering continuing on to become a Dental Hygienist but wants to help Jordon get through school first. She is working as an intern at our dentist's office right now and loving it!


Jordon and Kayla both love sapphires and wanted to incorporate that into their wedding set, so they went together and picked out this one. Its really beautiful! (A heart shaped diamond in the center with diamonds and sapphires next to it)

Kayla and Jordon have a lot of fun together - I think their favorite things to do are play 'rock band' and video games, go to movies or watch movies at home, dance, (but only for fun - they decided competing was too stressful and full of too much drama), and read good books together! You would not believe how many books Jordon reads - unbelievable! . . . and Kayla loves reading too! They also love any kind of outdoor water activities! So here are some cute pics (just thought you might like to get to know him a little better and see why they fell in love! :)
